Drill down Series: Meet Jayden Wake

If you are passing through Rangers Head Office on a Wednesday, you may be fortunate enough to meet Jayden.

Having relocated from South Australia to Perth, Jayden joined Ranger in June 2022 after seeing his dad donning his own Ranger Drilling PPE and uniform.

With a keen interest in trucks and machinery, Jayden took a tour of the Ranger offices and workshop before transitioning into a role in the Stores department one day a week.

You’ll find Jayden in the warehouse accompanied by his carer Mitch, obtaining hands on experience assisting with everything from refurbishing mechanical parts, dispatching of supplies to the rigs and general stores duties.

When asked what his favourite thing about Ranger is, it was a quick response – the trucks and machinery of course! Followed closely by the branded PPE (snapback caps only) and people.

Apart from working at Ranger, Jayden also holds a part time position working at a Quality Assurance laboratory. In his spare time when given the opportunity, you’ll find him fishing, or getting involved on the farm.
